Shifu Shi Yanpeng is a 34th generation lay disciple of the Songshan Shaolin Temple, the sacred birthplace of Shaolin Kung Fu and Chan (Zen) Buddhism. Devoting his life to preserving and promoting the depth and discipline of traditional Shaolin martial arts.
He holds a First-Class Coach Certification in Wing Chun and Wushu from the Chinese Wushu Association and has been awarded the 6th Duan ranking by both the Shaolin Wushu Association and the Shaolin Wushu Experts Committee — a rare distinction among martial artists.
Beyond teaching, Shifu Yanpeng has also appeared in multiple kung fu films, bringing authentic Shaolin culture and techniques to the screen and helping to share its spirit with a wider audience.
In every class, he emphasizes not only the precision of technique but also the cultivation of inner strength, moral integrity, and physical–mental harmony. With patience, clarity, and dedication, he leads students into the living tradition of Shaolin.
His mission is simple yet profound: to pass on the true art of Shaolin Kung Fu to all who seek it with sincerity and determination.
