What styles of martial arts do you teach?
We specialize in traditional Chinese martial arts, including Kung Fu, Taichi, Qigong, and Shaolin styles such as Wing Chun and Meihuaquan.
Do I need prior martial arts experience to join?
Not at all. Our programs are open to all levels, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners.
What is the age requirement to join the school?
We accept students of all ages, though minors must be accompanied by or have consent from a guardian. Classes are available for all levels.
Where is the school located?
Our school is located at Wudang Mountain, Hubei, China, a historic center of Taoist martial arts and spiritual practice.
Is accommodation provided for students?
Yes, we offer accommodation (on-site) for students enrolled in our  programs. Meals and basic amenities are included. Read more about accommodation
How do I get there?

Whether you are arriving from Beijing or Shanghai, there are two convenient travel options to reach Wudang Jingwu Martial Arts School.

By Plane: You can take a domestic flight to Shiyan Wudangshan Airport. From the airport, the school is approximately 30 minutes away by taxi or Didi (China’s ride-hailing app).

By High-Speed Train: Take the fast train to Wudangshanxi (Wudangshan West) Railway Station. The school is also about 30 minutes away from the station by taxi or Didi.

Whether you arrive by plane or train, both routes offer scenic views and a comfortable journey into the heart of Wudang’s spiritual and martial tradition. Once in Shiyan transportation is straightforward and reliable.

What language is instruction given in?
Classes are taught primarily in Chinese, but the master can explain important points in English to help international students understand key concepts and techniques. We aim to make training accessible to all, regardless of language background.
What should I bring with me?
Comfortable shoes, personal toiletries (towels), bring power adapter (since European style plugs are not compatible with Chinese electrical outlets) and any medications you may need. All students are provided with uniforms, essential training equipment, and clean bed sheets to ensure a comfortable and well prepared training experience. 
Do you offer short-term training programs?
Yes! We offer both short and long-term programs. Please contact us if you have a specific period in mind, and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
Can I get certified after completing the course?
Our focus is on traditional martial arts training and personal development. However, your progress will be recognized by the master, and students will receive acknowledgment of their dedication and skill (certificate of participation).
Are the rooms private or shared?
Standard accommodation is in shared rooms with a maximum of 3 students per room. However, a limited number of private rooms are available upon request for an additional cost of $15 USD per night. Please let us know in advance if you prefer a private room, as availability is limited.
Any additional recommendations?

Recommended Applications: we suggest downloading Alipay and WeChat for daily use in China, as they are widely used for payments and communication.

Connectivity: A Chinese SIM card or eSIM is recommended for staying connected outside the school. The school provides WiFi on campus, but mobile data is essential when off-campus.

Insurance: Students are required to arrange their own personal health and travel insurance for the entire duration of their stay. Please note that the school does not provide any insurance coverage
